I thought of JG Ballard than once when reading this Strange constellations of everyday events heavy with meaning but also meaningless Harrison s fantasies are those of a man whose thoughts are too quick and many, and so become rudderless in the wide spaces that are caused by British reserve The social moments are beautifully observed.
