  1. Filled with juicy gossip and a whole lot of scandal, this is a must have bead read How I let this author slip by on my radar is downright horrendous I want to grab all of her books and nestle them on my bookshelf I want to pack them all up, go to Nantucket for the week, and read them all one by one I feel like I have been missing so much by not reading them and am slapping myself because of it If you are a fan of women s fiction and love novels that are downright scandalous then this is a must r [...]

  2. I enjoyed this book from beginning to end The main characters were all interesting and I was hopeful for the ending and it did not disappoint Toward the end I found myself not wanting it to end quite yet and to me that is one of many things that make a good book I felt sad for Eddie because it was like he was treading water like crazy but going to drown anyway, yet he was still trying to survive I won t spoil the ending but even with what happened to him, I liked the ending because I think he wa [...]

  3. I needed a novel that didn t require too much thinking or looking up words The Rumor met those needs, but it wasn t long before I was skipping pages of the book to get it to move along The book has no foreshadowing, no suspense nothing difficult to sort out or make you think even a little bit It was truly vacuous I was hoping for something with a little depth The book has a surprising number of trashy people.

  5. This was the 2nd book I read by Elin The covers always piqued my interest but I never picked one up until I read Golden Girl that was a great read as well in regard to The Rumor, this was a quick beach read You are drawn into the book from the start I don t want to spoil anything but just want to advise you to read and you will not be disappointed The book ended well, however, I think Grace should have encouraged Madeline to publish the book Happy Beach reading to you all Onto the next Beach rea [...]

  6. I ordered a number of this author s novels based on Marian Keyes recommendation of her latest novel, which I enjoyed greatly This is the fourth novel I ve read and I m afraid that I have over indulged Whilst the plot was plausible, I no longer require the detailed description of every meal, including the outlets where the ingredients were purchased I guess if this was the first novel I d read then I would score higher.
