I thought this was a novel by Alex Gerlis, whom I had just discovered It is actually a short, detailed account of D Day and the planning of the great landing on Normandy beaches I wasn t disappointed I should have been alert when I read the description A very interesting and thorough telling of all that led up to that fateful day.


  3. Very good book I read it just before going to visit Omaha Beach in France, I had s greater appreciation of the battle after reading the book
