  1. Presentation of this book series is most misleading I purchased book 1 for 1.99 but found myself with the whole series and a bill of 154.71 that I can t get rid of After ordering the book I found my library filled with what I thought were samples of the other books in the series and had no interest in fishing through the clutter It wasn t until I received a bill that I learned that I had purchased the whole series I have disputed the marketing and the bill but have been refused any recompense I [...]

  2. Thoroughly entertainingStand alone that is easy to follow and difficult to put down No violence or drag you down drama.Opposites attract with this thought provoking romance Believable characters with distinct personalities and emotional baggage Informative and snarky dialogue.I will continually re read this series.

  3. I ve enjoyed all the books from this series and this one is not exception.Jillian Matlock is smart, eager and at the top of her career path she s in love with a man who coincidentally works for her but that s about to change, one of them can move into another position and then they can announce that they are involved Imagine her extreme surprise when she is called in by her boss because a sexual harrassment suit has been filed against her Jillian is asked to take some time off and she does by re [...]

  4. The Virgin River Series not just Wild Man Creek is a wonderful series If you like courage, honor, community, family, love and friendship If none of that appeals to you, then you would most likely waste your time These books are, at the core, American novels Brotherhood of ex Marines, ex Army with commitment to country, community, and family. The central characters are strong, revolving around two retired Marines and their families and the bar restaurant they run Every book adds characters, but co [...]

  5. 12 in Carr s Virgin River series, and one of my favorites.A lot of the VR characters are starting over that s how they end up in this remote small town in Northern California And this was no exception the hero has recently overcome an horrible accident that has changed his life on several fronts, and the heroine is playing a waiting game after an huge personal betrayal, deciding whether to start something new or pick up the old life. These are intense themes, but this book had a fun quality to it [...]

  6. I love this series They are all well written and although each book focuses on one couple, the other beloved characters are present and woven into the stories Why not five stars A little too predictable Every couple gets a HEA.

  7. Loved the Riordan brothers After Colin s helicopter crashed, he spent months in recovery then in therapy, not just for his injuries but for his addiction to pain killers and the ensuing depression He heads to Virgin River to rest, paint, and decide what he wants to do for the great of his life He meets Jillian who recently lost her job thanks to a hurtful betrayal by the man she was dating She s renting a house and gardening up a storm Somehow the two of them find each other and get involved, bu [...]

  8. This new story set in Virgin River is just as good as the ones that have preceded it I so enjoy these people who have their flaws but are doing the best they can The characters are believable and easy to empathize with I hope Robin continues to write about them.

  9. Carr captivates her audience from the very beginning Her characters are authentic and easy to relate too The small town of Virgin River certainly packs a huge punch From the well loved locals to passing visitors that migrate back This story tells of another of the Riordan brothers Colin that the other books have paid a mention to and Jillian who was briefly mentioned in Promise Canyon Colin is recuperating at his elder brother Luke s cabin after a black hawk helicopter crash that almost took his [...]
